2. Describe the Florida Department of Health (DOH) and Agency for Health Care (AHCA), their roles in health policy in Florida and what they are doing in response to Covid-19? Discuss any Florida statutory law or administrative rules that we have discussed or that you have learned about.
3. Describe the Federal Government’s response to the virus? What have they done? What resources are they providing?
4. Have local governments in Florida been involved in making health policy regarding the environment? If so, give examples.
5. Discuss your career goals in health care management. What would you do if you were a manager faced with this virus? How would you determine what health policies were being put in place for your hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, clinic or other. What have you learned from the first half of this course that would help you understand policy in the future?
