Learning Goal: I’m working on a management writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Choose a leader in your own company or industry whom you admire for their leadership. This should be a person to whom you have access. Interview the person about their leadership style and the international issues they believe are important in your industry. You should develop your own questions and conduct the interview.
Your submission should be typed, double-spaced, including the title page. The submission is in five parts:
(1) Opening paragraph naming your industry and the leader you have chosen and the reason you have chosen the leader.
(2) List your questions and summarize the leader/manager responses beneath each.
(3) List and examine the leader’s competencies from those required for effective global leadership (11.2 A, 11.2 B, and 11.2C from Chapter 11 of the text).
(4) Examine your own competencies and compare them to those listed in the chapter.
(5) Design and detail your plan for developing the competencies listed.
