To the Temporary Resident Unit,
My name is Sahar Golchin Roozbahani. I am submitting my application and the required documents to request a study permit so I can enroll in the master’s in leadership, Health Care program at Trinity Western University (TWU). The program commences in Summer 2022.
Background
I am dedicated, hardworking, humble, social, and a team player. It has always been my pleasure to offer service delivery where necessary. I have been brought up by loving and caring parents who taught me nothing but kindness. Since my childhood, I have longed to see myself as a successful leader championing the wellness of my people, with much passion for healthcare and medicine even though I preferred the business part of it. I have been working so hard in class since kindergarten so that I can not only dream about my career but also work toward actualization. Day by day, I developed the urge to teach myself basic healthcare management skills such as policymaking, personal training, and administration. Also, knowing about healthcare is not all of it and we should also know how to take care and manage our healthcare when natural disasters happen, and I noticed in Iran they do not pay much attention to this topic. For instance, the Bam earthquicke that happened couple years ago in Iran, many people have died, and it hurt my feelings because if those people had more knowledge of how to take care of themselves, we would lose less people. Therefore, to respect my own interest and go after what I was good at, I received my bachelor’s degree in Natural Disaster Relief Management in 2012. This major showed me the true sides and how important is to know the ways to manage yourself and others when natural disasters happen.
After my graduation, it was time for me to gain more experience and practical skills, and I started working at Kahrizak Charity Foundation in 2012 till 2015 as a supervisor of the people’s participation unit and department of attracting people to help provide health service and medical equipment. Kahrizak Charity Foundation is mainly an institution that was established with good intentions and is a center for the maintenance, education, rehabilitation, and health care of the disabled, the elderly, and patients with MS. From 2015 till present, I started working as a team lead of providing relief, and first aid services department during natural disasters in Iran Red Crescent which is call Helal Ahmar. This was my dream job that I went to school for, and I go to work every day with a heart full of love and caring for those who need help from us and try to learn how to manage and lead my team to help those people out in a best way. Also, along with my undergraduate degree and working at Kahrizak Charity Foundation, and Iran Red Crescent I gained some skills such as, Microsoft Office, Siyagh accounting software, social pathology of natural disasters, and First aid course.
Reasons to Return
I have various reasons that compel me to return to my country as soon as this education period ends. The first and most important one is that I have a fantastic job offer from Iran Red Crescent as Chief manager. This job will bring me tempting benefits, and the first benefit is that I will be one of the first managers as it has been one of my dreams since I started this job in 2015. Also, I have been working in this company for about 7years and I have gained establishment and credibility in this company. I plan to improve them and not leave them behind, that won’t be logical at all.
Also with this offer, I will get a huge raise and benefit in my salary and having some sort of financial security has always been important to me. So, with this job offer, I can not only save a portion of my salary for the future, but also, I can build a more pleasant and comfortable life in Iran for myself and my family.
Thus, I have the official and moral obligation of returning to Iran and starting my job at the earliest as I have signed a contract that compels me to continue my cooperation with this company. Otherwise, I will be sued legally and pay a large amount of money as compensation. Also, I am a genuine traveler and I want to be able to travel within countries in the future. Hence, I am going to abide by all rules and return to my home country as soon as I finish my studies.
To be more specific, my education and working experience are fully subjected to Iran’s working system. During all these 10 years, I tried to learn a lot at both Kahrizak Charity Foundation, and Iran Red Crescent and with all these experiences I believe that I still need to get my master’s degree in Leadership, and health care to help me learn more and fill the gaps, so when I return, I can make some changes toward its improvement. Also, I believe I cannot find a suitable job with the same salary and benefits in another country and anyone else in my shoes will decide to return to his or her homeland.
In addition, upon my return, I will be eligible for retirement insurance and pension. Being insured is a crucial part of every job and with retirement insurance, I will be assured that I can work in the mentioned or higher positions for a long time and retire with peace of mind. Although I have big plans and goals for the future of my job at some point I need to retire and enjoy the time I have and with this insurance, I will not worry about my financial and professional status in Iran. I have always been a law-abiding person and followed the rules and regulations of my country. I will act accordingly and will not overstay my welcome in Canada.
My family is another reason for me to come back. I have a strong emotional attachment to my family. I am part of a 9 people family, I have 2 sisters ages 42, and 43, and 4 brothers in ages 34, 37, 39, and 41, and they are all living with my mother in Mohammadshahr, Karaj. My oldest brother and I are the only children who got married and my other 5 siblings are all single and have severe mental retardation. Also, my father passed away 3 years ago, and my mother, my oldest brother, and his wife are taking care of my siblings, and I usually go after my work and take care of them. So, for this reason, I cannot leave my family alone and especially my siblings who are waiting for me every evening, and my mother who is 65 years old. Thus, I need to return to be by her side and take care of her and her needs because morally and emotionally speaking, I want to be with her and give her the same love she gave me, and for all the work that she has been doing for my siblings, and never gave up.
To sum up, I have every intention to come back to Iran and reunite my family and seek a bright future in my home country, which would be a result of completing my studies in Canada. I have credibility and well-establishment in Iran in all respects and I have no intention of abandoning them. I am content with the life I have in Iran, but I am an ambitious person who does not like to settle for less, therefore, I want to thrive in my professional and social life, but I have every intention to return. Also professionally, financially, emotionally, and morally speaking my return outweighs my stay in Canada.

My husband and I have calculated all the costs that I need to afford during my short-term staying in Canada, and we are truly sure that I will not face any financial issues. Since 2012 when I started working at Kahrizak Charity Foundation, I have had a fixed monthly salary plus bonuses and benefits with an average income of about ???? My husband has a fixed monthly salary between ?? to ??, and he will be sponsoring me. Moreover, I have prepaid CAD 14,000 to TWU for my first tuition semester. We also have enough financial assets to cover my living and educational expenses, and I am listing our available financial resources below:

Travel History
Since I started my school until today, I have been busy with either studying or work and did not have much time to travel abroad. Although traveling is my favorite hubby, When I travel, I feel free and I enjoy experiencing new cultures, seeing the differences, and visiting different places. In these past couple of years, I have traveled all around Iran and most of cities because of my work that we needed to help or get to know the areas in case in case of the time that natural disaster happens. Other than that, I have been spending my free time in our family garden with my family.
