Your application can be kept functionally quite simple, but it needs to be engaging and robust. The application could focus on information, interpretation, communication, entertainment, commerce, procurement, or other types of activity.

Note that you are expected to design and evaluate an application – not to implement one.

You should use methods as taught in the module, particularly in Chapters 3-10 of Benyon (2019) Designing User Experience (Pearson), and utilise the Spaces of Interaction, Places for Experience text too.

You should include a section for each of the following:

•       Introduction (Describe your system, motivations behind the project choice, objectives you aim to achieve through the design);

•       Understanding (Describe and implement 1 understanding method; provide results);

•       Envisionment (Describe and implement 1 envisionment method; provide evidence);

•       Testing (Describe and implement 1 testing method; provide results)

•       Evaluation (Describe and implement 1 evaluation method; provide results);

•       Conclusion (justify the methods and approaches you have taken; highlighting any ethical issues that are relevant);
