Your argument for this paper will have to agree or disagree with one (ONLY ONE!) of the statements below. Persuade the reader that your position has the stronger argument. Clear organization that follows the Toulmin Method
Introduction with thesis (i.e., main claim)

Multiple body paragraphs that defend that thesis’s claim with sound reasoning and research (i.e, the grounds, warrant, backing, data/evidence for your argument)

Counterclaim(s) that address how someone could reasonably oppose your argument (counterclaims can be woven into body paragraphs and/or presented near the conclusion of the paper)

A rebuttal that responds to the opposition(s) raised in the counterclaim(s) (rebuttals can be woven into body paragraphs and/or presented as the conclusion)

MLA internal and external citations to at least two (2) credible researched sources
