1. With your Lab Manual in front of you, go through the presentation below.
2. Open the file called “Bergeys Intro” and write down the Important Notes for Users of This Manual to complete question 1.
3. Make sure to scroll through and check out the Group names- they’ll be helpful in filling out Table 9.
4. Open the file called “Group 4 and 5 enterics” to complete the theoretical results for each of the organisms in Table 9 from your Lab Manual. NOTE: Salmonella typical includes all Salmonella species that are not listed and Shigella other is any species within Shigella that is not sonnei.
5. If necessary, use the other files in the Google drive folder to complete Table 9.
6. Using the completed Table 9, determine which organism’s theoretical results match those you collected experimentally. This is your Organism Identification.
