What do you think of the 10 Nursing Core Competencies? Are they all necessary? Is there anything missing?

Chapter 4 of your textbook describes the Nurse of the Future: 10 Nursing Core Competencies. It provides definitions and explanations of each core competency.

2. Which core competencies do you think are the most essential to nursing practice?
   1. One of the core competencies is focused on communication, which is a topic discussed in this week’s lessons and text. How can some of the communication methods/tools we discussed be used to foster the communication competency?
3. How can you as a nursing student engage in these core competencies?
