This lab has 2 experiments as summarized below. Both experiments are done on your computer, and do not require
anything from your lab kits. There will be a single final report required for submission that includes all four experiments
of this lab, so keep good records of your results along with the required photographs so that you have all needed items
to complete the final submission for grading once you have completed both experiments.

Experiment 1: Biological Molecule Tests (20 minutes)

Download and follow instruction in Unit 2 Lab Activities,

Have either a printed or electronic copy of the Unit 2 Lab Final Report page available to view while you do the activities –
50 you know, as you conduct the experiment, what must be included in the final report and what questions you will need
to answer.

Take a photo of each data table and paste it into this the Final Report. Each photo should include a paper with your
name and your class section. The photos are proof that you actually complete the experiments.

Rename the file as Lasiname_Unit2_FinalReport.docx

Submit the file to the Unit 2 Lab Assignment folder.

macromolecules: carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.

Identity basic characteristics of carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins.

Understand the function of controls, and be able to identify positive and negative controls in an experiment.
