Student will be assessed from the report written and demonstration of the Arduino circuit according to the tasks given. The objective of this assignment is to analyse the usage of sensors in robot applications by investigating a circuit which comprise of Arduino. A sensor is a window for a robot to the environment. Sensors allow robots to understand and measure the geometric and physical properties of objects in their surrounding environment, such as position, orientation, velocity, acceleration, distance, size, force, moment, temperature, luminance and weight. These signals are passed to a controller to enable appropriate behavior. Sensors in robots are based on the functions of human sensory organs. Robots require extensive information about their environment in order to function effectively. Tinkercad must be used for this assignment. Tinkercad is a free online software that help people all over the world to think, create and make. Tinkercad is used to design circuit and simulate the circuit to view the outputs of certain application. Task: Analyse a virtual circuit in Tinkercad, which includes the following: a) Outline the robot application which is chosen for designing the circuit. b) Breakdown the sensors and other components used in the circuit (description of each component must be included) c) Investigate the possibility to substitute the sensor used with another sensor or components d) Confirm the chosen sensor’s by simulation in Tinkercad e) Outline the codes used for the simulated circuit
