Students will write a research paper exploring the topic of “The Great Resignation.” This paper presents an opportunity to leverage the theories and readings throughout the semester and apply them to a current, real life issue. The goal of the paper is to exercise critical thinking skills and produce a clearly written analysis. Final recommendations should include both analysis and evidence-based support.

This assignment allows students to accomplish the following:

• identify the various aspects of HRM which must be evaluated when developing or updating company policy;
• identify and evaluate the various stakeholders impacted by HRM proposals;
• learn to mix academic and reputable popular press materials to support an argument
• synthesize material from multiple sources into a concise summary for business professionals

Paper Guidelines:

• Papers should be between 1200-1500 words, plus a cover page and Reference page.
• Students must apply proper use of the American Psychological Association (APA) 7 guidelines.
• Papers should be double spaced, with 1” margins, in Times New Roman 12pt font
• Students must provide a minimum of five citations; all citations must be in the Reference section.
