Identify a multi-faceted natural phenomena. What is the phenomenon?

Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

The focus this week is to think about natural phenomena as a model system. Start by reflecting on intentional observations you have made as part of sharpening your observation skills.

The phenomenon can be the same as the one you are doing for your Final Applied Project or something very different that you are curious about or have recently learned about.

Make a few notes about the key features of the phenomenon and how the features fit together.

For this week, post the following for your Main post:

1. Identify a multi-faceted natural phenomena. What is the phenomenon?
2. What are the key features or facets of this phenomenon? Be specific and provide good detail.
3. Draw a flow diagram or create a model of how these features or facets fit together. Be sure you include all important features. The model should represent a functional natural system or phenomenon. All work must be your own creation. Do not use models or diagrams from the internet. You will not receive any credit for diagrams or models that you have not created.
4. IMPORTANT: For any physical models that you create by hand (craft or drawing on paper), you must include your name and a current date in the photo or video with the drawing or model.
