1. You are a young professional working on a sales team. Everyone on the team has the same base salary and benefits. The team always has the possibility of commission, but only if every team member hits their sales target. Your team has not received the possible commission in four months. You have surpassed your sales target by over 20% in each of those four months, but other members of your team have been less successful. Should management change its policy? Why or why not? If so, when should they change it? What are the repercussions of changing or not changing it? Provide the consequences for changing and keeping this policy for the business and the team.

1. On October 14, our class went into DC to complete a scavenger hunt. The class was grouped into teams. Each team was responsible for bringing specific items for points, communicating with each other in attendance, and completing the scavenger hunt to the best of their ability.  Persuasively, convince me why you should receive the highest grade in your team. What did you do to set yourself apart from the rest? What did your teammates do to not deserve a higher grade? (this is hypothetical and will not be reflected in the real grading of the scavenger hunt assignment)

Question 2 Alternative if you did not participate in the scavenger hunt, or if you recognize that you did not contribute as much as you could have.  Think ahead to the upcoming You Be the Entrepreneur group project. Suppose that you want to be named leader of the group (and thereby receive additional points for taking on that role). Persuade us that you should be named the group leader by describing how you will set yourself apart from the other members of your team. What responsibilities are you prepared to assume from your teammates that will justify your higher grade? (This is a hypothetical question. The other members of your group will determine how many points you should receive for your participation in the group project.)
