Final Exam

The final examination has 7 questions. Final exam questions will be released at the conclusion of each unit if instructions. for example, the Week 1 final exam question(s) will be released at the conclusion of Week 1. You will have the opportunity to complete final exam answers as the course progresses, but you will not submit the answers until the date designated in Week 7. All answers will be submitted as a single document (one page per answer, single spaced), with the list of references for all 7 questions provided on the last page of the document. The document will be uploaded in the course. Do not email the final exam answers.

You must provide a thorough, comprehensive, analytical answer for each question, one complete page per question.
Write the answers single spaced, double spaced between paragraphs. Check your spacing. MS Word defaults to Multiple spacing (1.15).
Cite sources with endnotes (APA). Cite sources in-text and provide a full citation at the end of the exam answers on the last page
Note: You should use your course textbook and sources provided in the course (FEMA chapters for example) as references for all exam questions. You are expected to supplement with other reference material, but as a supplement, not substituting for the textbook and the FEMA reference chapters..
When you submit your final exam, it will have 8 full, single spaced pages (1 page per question and the 8th page is a Reference page for all 7 answers).
Submit your exam answers to Blackboard. I will not accept emailed answers.
This exam is worth 100 points (roughly 14 points per question).
HINT: Your answers must be concisely worded to submit as much substantive information and analysis as you can in one single spaced page. I suggest using a smaller font (Arial is too big unless you choose 10 type size) and small type size (no lower than 10). I say this not to dictate specific font and type, but to encourage the idea that it is important to demonstrate you understand and can engage in a written analysis on the topic. Do not include wordy introductions like you were going to write a 20-page paper, instead go straight to the point. I am looking for substance, so the objective is not just a word count, full-page issue. I want substantive content, tightly written.
