Exploring Research, create a flowchart / decision tree

Using Figure 1.2 in Ch. 1 of Exploring Research, create a flowchart / decision tree using
Microsoft ® Word or a similar program that helps you identify what research design to use for your
research question.

The flow chart is a visual way to examine the best methodology for your intended research. It allows
you to walk yourself through questions, and identify the pathway that leads to a specific type of
methodology.

· How should I structure my flow chart?
You are to use the example/ guidelines in Figure 1.2 of your text, and apply it to your personal
research question and study. The flow chart you develop and submit is intended to help you identify
what research design to use for your specific research question. You would follow the guidelines to
help you determine which design would be applicable for your specific study, and include information
as to why you chose "yes" or "no" in response to each question in order to enable your reader to
follow how you came to your decision
