In this assignment you are going to prepare a “Failure Analysis.” A failure analysis is the process of collecting and analyzing data to determine the cause of a failure. You will write an account of a failure you have experienced in the past in detail. Your failure story has to focus on a time you stepped out of your comfort zone to experience something new. It can be at work or personal but it should be an event you can describe, NOT a personality trait or bad habit. It should be a scenario where your actions, or lack of, caused something to happen. You may not use failing an exam or a class as your failure scenario.

Here are the guidelines. Be sure to include in your Analysis the following. Please answer the questions one by one vs. an essay format. Each response should be at least 100 words and total word count should be no more than 750. The questions do not count towards the 100 word count requirement.

3. Make sure to outline exactly where things went wrong and what failed?
4. Reflect on why you failed, what could have been done differently and how you felt when you failed?
5. Outline how you could have changed the events or course of action.
6. Explain in detail how this failure helped you grow. What did you learn from this failure?
