Hello, I have been assigned an analytical essay in my history class. Below I have listed all the sources and directions you may need in order to complete this assignment. I need this by this Saturday. It needs to be in MLA format and contain fully formed paragraphs of at least 200 words each. answer it in a well-written, well-supported essay that is, at minimum, 1500 words. Writing more is permitted so long as all parts of the essay are relevant. I will not count the title page, bibliography, or citations in determining the word count, only the main body of the essay. Please only use the sources I provided and no outside sources. If yo have any questions please let me know. You must take a position and argue your position or thesis on the question posed. Arguing a position means supporting your thesis by drawing on the assigned textbook and at least TWO of the non-textbook primary sources assigned. Then citing what you’ve borrowed or used.

Prompt: Assess this statement in light of our assigned readings: “…the most important effect of the frontier has been in the promotion of equality and the recognition that all Americans share the same natural rights.” Do you agree given the period we’ve looked at so far, roughly 1860 to 1919? Fashion a thesis in which you take a position on this claim, then back all you write with the material assigned so far in our course. Include at least the significant use of two non-textbook primary sources that were assigned and located at the bottom of this page.

2. Taken a position and argued their position or thesis on the question posed. Arguing a position means supporting your thesis by drawing on the assigned textbook and at least TWO of the primary sources assigned up to and including the week when the essay is due.
3. Demonstrated the ability to interpret historical information by using analytical skills, such as using primary sources skillfully, contextualizing, and comparing and contrasting sources.
4. Cited (given proper credit to) the sources used by using quotation marks to set off the words of others and citing sources? (for example: Mr. Van, “The Principal Themes in our Class,” http:smc.canvas.3495968) Have they kept their quotations brief, a phrase or two, to clinch a key point?
5. Used no other outside sources other than the assigned readings, primary sources, and the discussion assignments — unless otherwise directed by the instructor
6. Written a clear, grammatically correct, well-organized essay, free of most misspellings and common grammatical mistakes? Has the student punctuated properly? Do they announce their thesis in the first paragraph and argue that thesis in the body of the essay? Is that thesis strong (arguable)? Do they finish their essay with a conclusion? That is, have they written college-level work?
