Critical thinking requires learning to think while everyday thinking is just simply what to think. Critical thinking you must go deeper into and use more logic, gather evidence, evaluate then finally come up with a plan.

Critical thinking requires learning to think while everyday thinking is just simply what to think. Critical thinking you must go deeper into and use more logic, gather evidence, evaluate then finally come up with a plan. Everyday thinking is simpler and is more of a matter of asserting opinions on issues. This type of thinking is based off personal feelings and beliefs, while critical thinking you need factual reasons and evidence.

2. I believe critical thinking is extremely important especially when expressing opinions to others. Many people especially younger people blare out opinions without having any logical evidence to support what they are saying. Like you said in our class last night there’s no respect for someone in an argument if they don’t have real facts to help support their argument. An example I could give is people debating over politics. Lots of kids are brought up surrounded by their parents’ beliefs and don’t really seize an opportunity to learn about it themselves. Then those kids will grow up and have kids of their own and the cycle will continue.

3. Philosophy is basically the love of wisdom. It’s an activity people undertake when they seek to understand the truth of something. Philosophy is very important because it enhances a person’s problem-solving abilities. It helps people organize ideas and issues and to analyze concepts.
