Censorship is an act that suppresses the freedom of speech, public communication, or other information. This may be done on the basis that such sensitive, or "inconvenient" to the individual or group censored, or the intended recipient of the communication. for instance, researchers and scholars have been censored throughout history by the religious, political, military, and corporate powers.

military, and corporate powers. One example is Noah (2014). This film tells the story of the
figure Noah or who in Islam is called the prophet Noah when he received the revelation from
the god. Although there is nothing offensive in this film, and it is adapted from a story in the
book, this film is considered to deviate from the fact. As a result, the film was banned in
several countries due to its depiction of the prophet. This essay will argue that while Noah’s
storyline does deviate from the true event, and it has aroused criticism from around the world.
This film also teaches us about the dark side of human nature. Which in turn can be useful in
some situations, but may undermine people in a difficult or stressful circumstances.
There are several reasons why we should not censor a film. First of all, the act of censorship
may obstruct and limit the freedom of creativity of the artist, which will affect the
development of the art industry “Restricting entire categories of image and action brings with
it uncomfortable and inescapable echoes of the Hays production code and its explicit list of
“Don’ts and Be Careful” (David (2001) p 31). Films are regarded as an excellent medium for
communicating with the general public. Films also have transformed as a result of the
development and progress of society, and have been able to reach the masses and contribute
considerably to the country's social and cultural development by using all available
technologies. For example, Kosior (2014) explains that although there are many negative

emotionally engaging to a modern audience. Moreover, the sophisticated plot followed
centuries of Jewish and Christian exegetical traditions, and the film's focus on family
difficulties promoted positive values. Film censorship would not change anything. With
today’s technologies, people could easily find everything through the internet, if anything, it
will just encourage people to see what is behind the blurred image.
