  2. Students will record two observations for eachphysical development- (2) Fine Motor Development and (2) Gross Motor Development, and Submit the four observations.
  3. Based on your observation, use the DRDP- Developmental Domains-Physical Development and Health to rate the child
  4. Based on your observations, use the DRDP (2015)An Early Childhood Developmental Continuum Preschool Fundamental View, and Rate your child on Developmental Domains- Physical and Health 1-4 ( pages 26-29) (Review each PD HLTH Measure and descriptors to rate the child from the videos)
  5. After rating the child, submit a completed copy or a clear image of each PD HLTH 1-4 measure ( pages – 26-29) for review and grading.
  6. Refer to DRDP & Observations Overview PowerPoint or DRDP (pp.#5)
  7. Use the observation handout Observation Worksheet– for the four anecdotal/observations Two anecdotal/observations must be typed and two with a piece of evidence such as a picture/photograph, or drawing, and explain about the evidence- what the child is doing, materials, etc. Follow the PowerPoint directions for the observation guidelines.

Section 3- Reflective writing Instructions:

  1. A summary of three in-depth paragraphs- APA Style
  2. Describe/explain your observations and the rating on the DRDP on the Two Developmental Domains- Physical Development and Health 1-4
  3. How, would you use the child’s assessment rating outcome/results and anecdotal/observations to enhance the learning environment or curriculum (activities) Provide two specific examples? For example to include t some materials in the indoor or outdoor learning environment or materials during large group movement activity, etc)
  4. Share your learning thoughts about this assignment.
