Methodology questions

Research Questions.
This study will be guided by the following research questions:

1. Research Question 1: How has gender affected the roles of black women in leadership in higher education at HBCUs?

2. Research Question 2: With HBCU’s favoring Black male leadership over Black female leadership, what does that mean for the employment rate for Black women in leadership in higher education?

3. Research Question 3: To what extent of these male gender biases affected the advancement of male vs Black female promotion in higher education at Historically Black Colleges and Universities?

4. Research Question 4: To what extent have the Queen Bee Syndrome affected the advancement of Black women in higher education at Historically Black Colleges and Universities?

Interview Questions.

What is the size of the institution that you serve?

What’s the ratio of Black male leadership to that of Black women in leadership at the university in which you serve?
